Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information D&I Charge (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, dicharge.info, and when you rent a power bank from one of our stations, how we use it and the choices you have. We collect very little, so it’s short.
What this policy covers
This policy covers this website and power bank rentals at D&I Charge stations.
Information we collect
- When you rent a power bank. When you tap a card at a station, our payment processor, Stripe, receives your card details to authorize and charge the payment. From Stripe we receive limited payment information, such as the card brand, the last four digits, the amount and the time. We also keep rental details: the station and venue, and when the power bank was taken and returned. We don’t receive or store your full card number.
- What you send us. The request form asks for your name, venue name, city and email address, and optionally your type of venue, phone number and notes. The form doesn’t send anything to us by itself. It opens a pre-filled email in your own email app, and we receive it only if you send that email. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include.
- Technical information. When you visit, our hosting provider automatically processes standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
We don’t use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or other tracking tools on this website. Pages, fonts and images all load from our own site, not from outside services.
How we use information
- To run rentals: charge the right price, handle power banks that aren’t returned, send receipts and answer questions about a charge.
- To reply to your request and arrange a visit to your venue.
- To install, stock and maintain a station at your venue if we agree to place one.
- To keep records of our business communications.
- To keep the website working and secure, and to meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only:
- With our payment processor, Stripe, which handles card payments at our stations under its own privacy policy.
- With service providers that run our website and email, such as our hosting provider (Vercel) and our email provider, so they can provide those services to us.
- When the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
- As part of a sale, merger or transfer of our business. This policy would continue to apply to the information transferred.
How long we keep it
We keep request emails and related records for as long as we need them to respond, work with your venue and keep normal business records. Then we delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner. We keep payment and rental records for as long as tax, accounting and card network rules require.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing contact@dicharge.info. You don’t have to give us any information to read this website.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
This website doesn’t track visitors over time or across other websites, so it works the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
Children
This website is for venue owners and managers. It isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Security
The site is served only over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No way of sending or storing information is completely secure, so please don’t email us payment card numbers, bank details or other sensitive information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top.
